Made by orphan carers in Zimbabwe these bowls are sold to pay for their school fees. The baskets are made from the sisal plant which grows prolifically in this area, and is ground down to a fibre, dried, dyed, twined and then wrapped and stitched around a core of sweet grass to create these finally woven baskets. A beautiful story and a beautiful product.
