Like us we know you are a fan of the unusual, the handmade, and pieces with tales to tell. This piece is all of these and more. The concept behind this piece is to tell the story of the many traumas in the form of disease, drought and war that Africa has had to endure. Africa draws a great deal of it's strength from it's people, and their survival is largely down to their strong community ties and the safety and support that numbers bring. 

This piece of cloth has made using a technique called 'sadza batik', frame it as an artwork, use it as a piece for your coffee table or incorporate it anyway you see fit.
