Made by using a technique called 'sadza batik' this piece is made completely by hand drawing a paste on to fabric. The fabric is then dyed to create this graphically beautiful lined tote. This piece is all about the water shortages that happen in the region. The residents get resourceful with finding ways of getting their supplies,whether by truck or by using a neighbour's borehole - as they say sharing is caring.
